i had such a wonderful time shooting this styled wedding! for those of you who don’t know, my mom and her fiancé, brandy, have the most epic house on pensacola beach. it is turquoise (who doesn’t love that?), bright, customized by the best designer / carpenter in town, and a 30 second walk from the beach. during the summers they rent it out as a vacation rental. not surprisingly, they’ve had many brides inquire about it – which has lead to this photo shoot. after my mom drew out her plans for the reception floor, brandy, the carpentry genius, implemented. all the pilings have been framed with white square pillars, the ceiling has huge reclaimed wood beams, the white outdoor bathroom that should be in a west elm magazine was added, and multiple strands of cafe lights were hung. it’s stunning! i would totally have my wedding at this lovely house called “sunshine”.
over many phone calls and texts, my mom and i planned the shoot from a distance—st. augustine to pensacola beach. the vendors that were involved came together and created such beautiful details that made our vision come to fruition! i hope you enjoy the photos as much as i enjoyed taking them. and, if you’re getting married in pensacola, check out sunshine beach house!
