Bring Your Own Reference Painting Workshop | January 22nd or 23rd

NEW! Join Jenna for an innovative painting workshop where you take the lead. Rather than following step-by-step instruction, Jenna circulates throughout the session to provide personalized guidance as you paint subjects of your choosing. Bring a printed photo as your reference—whether it's your favorite houseplant, a coffee cup on your kitchen table, a citrus tree from your backyard, or any subject that inspires you. This approach allows you to develop your own artistic voice while receiving expert support tailored to your individual needs and creative vision.
The goal of this class is to provide a safe, welcoming environment to explore the creative genius that everyone has inside of them. Instead of focusing on the outcome of the painting itself, the process will be emphasized. Creating is a means of letting go, loosening up, and enjoying the journey. All skill levels, beginner to advanced, are welcome.
All supplies are provided. 8 x 10 watercolor paper, gouache paint, pencil, eraser, water cup, brushes, and more.
This is a two and a half hour class offered on:
- Thursday, January 22nd, 6-8:30 pm
- Friday January 23rd, 6-8:30 pm
Location: Jenna Alexander Studio, 73 San Marco Avenue.
Ages 14+ unless child is very motivated to paint. Workshops are not refundable. If you cannot make the class, you can find someone to replace your spot.
