Private Coffee Cup Workshop | December 22nd

There's just something about having a mug in hand that makes fall even cozier! Have a favorite? Or a cute vintage find? Bring it to this class! In this workshop, Jenna will be guiding students through the process of creating their very own still life painting on watercolor paper.

The class will start with an ice-breaker and warm up blind contour exercise. Jenna will then lead the class step by step through painting basics, including toning the paper, sketching out the composition, observing light and dark values, and applying color with a controlled palette. The medium is gouache, water based paint sizing 8 x 10 inches.

The goal of this class is to provide a safe, welcoming environment to explore the creative genius that everyone has inside of them. Instead of focusing on the outcome of the painting itself, the process will be emphasized. Creating is a means of letting go, loosening up, and enjoying the journey. All skill levels, beginner to advanced, are welcome.

All supplies are provided. 

Please feel free to bring your own snacks, and whatever you’d like to sip on during class. Charcuterie and wine are not included at this class.

All ages welcomed, children 14+.

Workshops are not refundable. If you cannot make the class, you can find someone to replace your spot.
