RELEASING MAY 3
Modern Summer
It’s official: my new series is finally here!
Here’s a little back story:
One of my favorite artists in college was Wayne Thiebaud. Yes, maybe a bit cliche, but I just couldn’t get enough of his use of color, light, negative space, and the ability to make the every day mundane moments come to life. Like a painting of a plate of breakfast, a dessert, or a woman sitting in a chair.
This series is inspired by just that. The in between moments: friends carrying their boards to the beach, a lemon sliced up ready for a child’s small hands to shakily squeeze it into a pitcher for their first lemonade stand, or a woman stretching right before an early morning tennis match. Just the little snippets that tell a bigger story.
So so so excited to share these with you! More to come!
